Tandem Warsaw International Community |
Formerly known as Tandem Evenings in Warsaw TWIC is an informal and spontaneuos association of polyglots that organizes language exchange meetings in Warsaw since 2008. The meetings are over the 2000th edition and are attended by Expats, Erasmus students and young professionals, foreign and local from all over the world.Participation is always free of charge and all TWIC activities in Warsaw are no profit and free of charge for members and hosts FOREVER. If anyone asks you for money your not at a TWIC's genuine meeting and you are not dealing with a real TWIC representative.
Tandem is based on the unpaid work of volunteers, has no funds, no developers' team and this is why it is WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) and has no customer service (We have no customers, we care only about members!)
19 July 2023: Warning! Danger! There is a fake Tandem page on Facebook (that we have reported to them) creating fake Tandem meetings using also the same locations that we are currently using or that we have been using in the past and advertising their fake meetings even when a official tandem meeting is actually at that same venue the very same day (they publish fake Tandem meetings together with information about an official Tandem meeting, blending fake and real to confuse and cheat you better, they take the official information infiltrating the subscription list).
The only way you can protect yourself from fake tandem meetings is to subscribe and check tandem official channels. Since 2022 Tandem sends the invitations to the official meetings only by email directly to its members on the subscription list. Tandem Warsaw International Community has nothing to do with the activities of these unknown people and will take no responsibilities if they will conduct criminal activities against you. Tandem has set up the subscription as an anti-counterfeit measure. Watch out these unknown people! They do no represent Tandem Warsaw International Community in any way and if you interact with them you do it at your own risk! There is no honest reason why they should organize anything pretending to be Tandem when simply they are not!
